Who we serve

Serving a range of housing programs and providers.

CoC and ESG providers are a key focus, including CoC-funded rapid rehousing and permanent supportive housing, and ESG-funded rapid rehousing and homelessness prevention. We work with recipients, subrecipients, nonprofit housing providers, and public agencies coordinating rental units and participant placements.

Our services also support other HUD-assisted and affordable housing programs, housing authorities, rental assistance providers, and property owners and managers seeking inspection or readiness support. Each engagement is scoped to the applicable program, inspection standard, and agency requirements.

Request a single inspection or discuss recurring support across a scattered-site portfolio. We confirm your funding source, housing type, applicable standards, and reporting requirements before the assignment.

Inspection assignments

From initial inspection to follow-up.

Initial / move-in inspections

Assess prospective units using the applicable program standard and document findings so your team can make informed placement decisions.

Annual / recurring inspections

Reinspections after repairs

Review previously cited conditions, document corrections, and identify any remaining concerns.

Special or complaint inspections

Inspect reported conditions and communicate findings to the designated program contact.

Quality control reviews

Provide an additional inspection review to support consistent documentation and your internal oversight process.

Readiness walkthroughs

Identify observable concerns and help teams plan repairs before a required inspection.

Documentation & coordination

From scheduling to report delivery.

Assignments may include coordination with residents, landlords, and property representatives; deficiency documentation; photographs of relevant conditions; electronic reports; and communication about urgent concerns.

  • Inspection appointment coordination
  • Pass or fail findings where the assignment calls for them
  • Photographs supporting findings
  • Electronic inspection documentation
  • Reinspection planning and follow-up

Scheduling, geographic coverage, report delivery, forms, and pricing are confirmed in each agreement. Share your anticipated monthly volume if you need ongoing inspection support.

The right standard for your program

NSPIRE first. Program requirements confirmed.

Inspection requirements depend on the funding program and housing type. We confirm the applicable HUD requirements and your agency’s procedures before work begins. Shelter assignments are scoped separately from rental housing inspections.

HQS inspections remain available for programs where that standard applies. A readiness walkthrough is a preparatory service and does not replace a required inspection or guarantee its outcome.

NSPIRE is HUD’s National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate. HQS means Housing Quality Standards. HUD NSPIRE resources
